Position: EMI Technician Location: Baytown, TX Pay Rate: TBD Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Rotating Shifts

Job Summary

The EMI Technician performs electromagnetic inspection (EMI) on pipe and related materials to detect defects, verify quality, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands‑on experience, and the ability to work safely in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Requirements

• Experience operating EMI Pitco equipment
• Certified Level II (EMI/UT or related NDT discipline)
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience
• Ability to work rotating shifts
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable attendance
• Ability to work in an industrial environment
• PPE required (steel‑toe boots)

Job Duties

• Perform EMI inspections according to specifications
• Operate and maintain EMI Pitco equipment
• Document inspection results accurately
• Communicate findings to supervisors and quality teams
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning properly
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
