Position Summary
All Tex Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts, receiving and shipping materials, maintaining inventory, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse and forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts safely to move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and delivery vehicles.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Transport raw materials and finished products to designated warehouse or production locations.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
- Inspect forklifts and warehouse equipment daily and report maintenance concerns.
- Organize warehouse storage areas and maintain clean aisles and workspaces.
- Wrap, label, and secure products for shipment.
- Assist production and assembly departments by supplying materials when needed.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
- Work effectively with warehouse, production, and management teams to meet daily goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified).
- Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
- Basic computer and inventory system experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Work indoors in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
