JOB ORDER – LAB TECHNICIAN

Position: Lab Technician Location: Baytown, TX Pay Rate: $18–$20 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Rotating Shifts

Job Summary

The Lab Technician is responsible for preparing and cutting samples from coil slitting operations in accordance with work orders. This role supports production quality by ensuring accurate sample preparation and proper documentation.

Requirements

• Experience with sample cutting
• Experience preparing coil‑slitting samples according to work orders
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Ability to work rotating shifts
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced industrial environment
• Reliable attendance
• PPE required (steel‑toe boots)

Job Duties

• Cut and prepare material samples based on work order specifications
• Label, organize, and document samples accurately
• Assist with basic lab testing procedures as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
