Job Order: Construction Laborer

Position Title: Construction Laborer Location: Baytown, Texas Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, rotating shifts Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable Construction Laborers to support daily operations on industrial and commercial projects. This role involves performing a variety of physical tasks to assist skilled trades and ensure safe, efficient worksite operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties, including loading/unloading materials, site cleanup, and assisting tradespeople.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Support construction activities such as digging, lifting, carrying, and assembling.
• Safely operate heavy equipment including tele-forklifts, mini excavators, and other machinery as required.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.
• Adapt to rotating shifts and varying worksite conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or labor experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
• Must have experience operating heavy equipment:
  • Excavator
  • Dozer
  • Motor Grader
  • Skid Steer
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly wage (range: $20 – $22 per hour).
