Forklift / Front-End Loader Operator

Pay: $15.00/hour

Mon -Fri some Sat as needed 

Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Forklift / Front-End Loader Operator to safely move, stage, load, and unload cement and building materials.

This position requires previous equipment-operating experience and familiarity with working around heavy materials in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and front-end loaders to move and load cement materials.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Stage materials for production, customer orders, or transportation.
• Safely maneuver equipment around employees, trucks, materials, and other equipment.
• Perform daily visual inspections of equipment before operation.
• Follow load-capacity and material-handling safety procedures.
• Assist with general labor and material-handling duties when needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and supervisor instructions.

Overhead Crane

Candidates should have familiarity or experience working with a 1–2 ton overhead crane.

Experience should include an understanding of safe lifting, positioning, and movement of heavy materials.

Requirements

• Bilingual English/Spanish – MUST
• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Front-end loader experience required/preferred based on assignment.
• Familiarity with 1–2 ton overhead cranes.
• Heavy material-handling experience strongly preferred.
• Cement, concrete, construction-material, manufacturing, steel, pipe, or similar industrial experience is a plus.
• Must be safety-conscious and comfortable working around heavy equipment.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Must be available Monday–Friday and some Saturdays.
• Must be able to report by 6:00 AM.
• Steel-toe boots required.
