Driver Helper

Job Order: Delivery Driver Helper Client: All TEX Location: Houston, TX Schedule: Full‑time, Monday–Friday (occasional Saturdays as needed) Pay Rate: $15–$17 per hour

Position Overview

All TEX is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver Helper to support daily delivery operations. This role involves loading and unloading carpet rolls, padding, and related materials, ensuring products are delivered safely to designated areas. The helper will also occasionally assist with moving furnishings to prepare spaces for carpet delivery or installation. A valid driver's license is required, as the helper will eventually transition into driving responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading carpet and flooring materials.
• Safely transport products to designated areas within homes, businesses, or job sites.
• Occasionally move or reposition furnishings to allow carpet delivery or installation.
• Handle materials carefully to prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck and work environment.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries.
• Follow all safety guidelines and proper lifting procedures.
• Prepare to take on driving duties once trained and approved.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license; position will eventually include driving.
• Physically fit, able to perform frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying heavy carpet rolls and materials (up to 75 lbs).
• Comfortable with physical labor and fast‑paced work environments.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Previous delivery or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
