With an impressive roster of Fortune 500 clients, this role is ideal for an accomplished professional with a strong background in open-source software sales, who can manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Lifecycle Management: Identify, engage, and guide enterprise customers through the complete sales cycle.
- Client Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers in target organizations.
- Collaboration: Work with internal sales and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding for new clients.
- Market Analysis: Leverage trends and feedback to identify new business opportunities.
- Custom Solutions: Develop tailored proposals and presentations addressing client needs.
- Revenue Growth: Exceed sales targets and maintain a robust prospect pipeline.
- Industry Awareness: Stay current with data and IT market trends to better meet customer demands.
Essential Skills:
- Experience:
- 5+ years in B2B enterprise sales with a strong focus on open-source solutions.
- 3+ years selling open-source, open-core, or freemium software products.
- Sales Expertise: Proven success in inbound and outbound sales.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Ability to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Adaptability: Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with NoSQL technologies and enterprise IT solutions such as Systems Management, Cloud Management, or log analytics is a plus.
- Track Record: Consistently meets or exceeds sales quotas.
