Quality Control Team Leader

Position: Quality Control Team Leader

Position Overview:

The Quality Control Team Leader will be responsible for overall lead, coordination, implementation, and execution of the standards of quality and ensuring all projects consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Overseeing the quality of the materials, methods of execution and standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of quality control inspectors and oversee their daily activities

- Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards

- Identify and address any quality issues and work with the project team to find solutions

- Train and mentor team members on quality control procedures and standards

- Monitor and report on quality control metrics

- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure quality standards are met

- Conduct quality audits and provide recommendations for improvement

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements

- Manage and maintain all quality control documentation and records

- Communicate with clients and address any quality concerns or issues promptly

- Ensure all projects meet regulatory and legal requirements related to quality control

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the construction or real estate industry

- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, techniques, and tools

- Experience in project management and leading a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Proficient in using quality control software and Microsoft Office

- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the construction industry
