Main Purpose:
The Aluminum Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the aluminum factory, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely production of aluminum works, including doors, windows, and related systems. The role leads production planning, technical operations, material management, quality, resources, and project delivery to ensure the factory meets construction requirements, quality standards, and agreed schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Factory Operations & Production Management
- Lead and manage the overall day-to-day operations of the aluminum factory.
- Develop production plans and priorities in line with construction project requirements and agreed schedules.
- Monitor production capacity, productivity, workflow, and delivery performance.
- Ensure effective coordination between technical office, production, procurement, warehouse, quality, and project teams.

Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and output.
Technical & Production Planning - Oversee the technical preparation and production requirements for aluminum doors, windows, curtain walls, and related systems.
- Ensure approved shop drawings, material take-offs, cutting lists, and production orders are available before fabrication.
- Review technical and production requirements and ensure manufacturability and efficient execution.
- Drive the effective use of technical, production, and optimization software to improve planning and material utilization.
Materials, Procurement & Optimization - Plan material requirements in line with production schedules and project priorities.
- Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers to ensure timely availability of aluminum profiles, glass, hardware, accessories, and other materials.
- Monitor material consumption, inventory, and production requirements to minimize shortages and excess stock.

Drive material and cutting optimization initiatives to reduce waste, improve yield, and control production costs.
Quality & HSE - Ensure all fabricated products comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Establish and monitor quality controls throughout the production process.
- Ensure factory operations comply with company HSE requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
- Address quality issues, non-conformities, and production defects and implement corrective actions.
Project Coordination & Delivery - Coordinate with Construction, Project Management, Site, Technical Office.
- Procurement, and other relevant teams to understand and prioritize project requirements.
- Ensure factory production and delivery plans support project milestones and site requirements.
- Monitor order status, production progress, and delivery commitments and take corrective action when required.
- Resolve technical, production, and delivery issues that may impact project execution.
People & Performance Management - Lead, supervise, and develop factory teams, ensuring clear responsibilities, productivity standards, and performance expectations.
- Allocate resources effectively according to production priorities and workload.
- Monitor team performance, attendance, productivity, and development needs.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement.
Cost Control & Reporting - Monitor factory operating costs, material consumption, productivity, and resource utilization.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce production costs.
- Prepare regular management reports covering production, capacity, material consumption, quality, delivery, and operational performance.
- Establish and monitor relevant factory KPIs and recommend improvement actions.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned to meet business and project needs.
Specifications (Qualifications, Experience, and Skills)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Civil, Architectural, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in aluminum fabrication, façade, windows & doors, or factory operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong experience in aluminum manufacturing, production planning, and factory operations.
- Good knowledge of aluminum profiles, doors, windows, glass, hardware, accessories, and fabrication processes.
- Strong understanding of shop drawings, material take-offs, cutting lists, production orders, and material optimization.
- Proven experience managing production teams and coordinating with technical, procurement, quality, and project teams.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity management, cost control, and operational KPIs.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with relevant technical, production, and optimization software.
- Experience supporting residential and construction projects is preferred.
- Strong commitment to quality, HSE, productivity, and on-time delivery.
