Finance and Accounting Director

 Job Description:

General Expectations:

Financial Reporting & Compliance

o Timely preparation and submission of accurate financial statements.

o Strict adherence to statutory compliance and regulatory guidelines.

Budgeting and Cost Control

o Preparing, managing, and analyzing annual budgets.

o Identifying and implementing cost-reduction opportunities.

Cash Flow and Treasury Management

o Maintaining adequate liquidity and managing cash flow effectively.

o Ensuring timely management of payables and receivables.

Risk Management and Internal Control

o Implementing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard company assets.

o Proactively identifying financial risks and developing mitigation strategies.

External Audit Management

o Coordination with auditors and ensuring smooth external audits.

o Resolving audit findings and implementing recommendations.

Strategic Financial Analysis

o Providing financial analyses to support business decisions and growth initiatives.

o Evaluating investments and strategic projects.

Leadership and Development of Finance Team

o Providing regular feedback, training, and support to team members.

o Ensuring team members achieve KPIs and align with organizational goals.

Competencies :

Deep understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), IFRS, and local

taxation.

Proficient in financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and forecasting.

Skilled in budget planning, financial modeling, and cost management.

Capable of providing insights that guide business decisions.

Proficient in presenting financial results to management and external parties.

Ability to simplify complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders.

Strong analytical capability to interpret financial data accurately.

Skilled in using financial data to forecast trends and evaluate financial risks.

Experience using accounting and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Microsoft

Dynamics, etc.).

Familiarity with financial analysis and forecasting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).

Effective team management, mentoring, and performance management.

Ability to lead, develop, and motivate finance staff.

Capable of effectively delegating tasks and building strong team cohesion.
