About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finishing Carpenter to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior fit-outs, cabinetry, and high-quality wood finishing work. You will be responsible for executing precision carpentry tasks that require a polished, professional finish, especially in high-end residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all types of finishing carpentry work, including installation of doors, cabinets, wardrobes, panels, moldings, skirtings, trims, and other detailed wood elements.

• Ensure all wood finishes meet design specifications and high-quality standards.

• Work from blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions to carry out installations and modifications.

• Sand, stain, varnish, or paint wooden surfaces for a clean and durable finish.

• Conduct minor repairs and adjustments on installed woodwork.

• Coordinate with other site teams including joiners, painters, and supervisors to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Maintain tools, materials, and workspace in an organized and safe manner.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a finishing carpenter, ideally in high-end interior projects.

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements accurately.

• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and finishing materials.

• Excellent craftsmanship with close attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

• Strong understanding of safety procedures and site regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certificate in Carpentry or related field.

• Previous work experience in Qatar or GCC is a plus.

• Familiarity with modern interior design and high-spec finishing techniques is advantageous.
