About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman/Estimator with solid experience in designing and costing wardrobes and kitchens. This role requires strong technical drawing abilities, precise estimation skills, and a practical understanding of interior joinery and cabinetry solutions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Autodesk Inventor for both design and costing purposes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate technical drawings and 3D models of wardrobes, kitchens, and custom joinery elements using Inventor.

• Interpret architectural and interior design plans to prepare detailed shop drawings and material specifications.

• Prepare and manage cost estimates, including material take-offs, labor, and installation pricing.

• Collaborate closely with sales, production, and installation teams to ensure design feasibility and budget alignment.

• Revise drawings and estimates based on client feedback or project changes.

• Maintain drawing and costing databases to ensure efficiency and consistency across projects.

• Ensure compliance with local building codes and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in wardrobe and kitchen manufacturing or fit-out.

• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor is essential; knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant design software is a plus.

• Strong understanding of joinery materials, fittings, and construction methods.

• Demonstrated experience preparing accurate BOQs and cost sheets.

• Attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering.

• Previous experience working in Qatar or GCC markets is an advantage.

• Familiarity with local supplier networks and costing benchmarks.
