Job Description:
Technical Skill:
1. Carefully do adjustment of eyewear, assess the condition prior doing something
2. Get the right power of the lenses, report to his/her immediate superior in case of wrong power
3. Cut the ophthalmic lenses based on the exact shape and size of the frame
4 Take necessary measurements precisely such as segment, pupil, vertical and horizontal height.
5. Can operate manual and automatic edging machine
6. Ability to cut any type of lenses and able to mount it at any type of frame
7. Produce quality and premium spectacle
8. Finish the job in less than 1 hour
9. Immediately give his technical recommendation in cases of the possible outcome of the eyeglasses (thick, off pd, etc)
2. Workflow Compliance
1. In case of damages, hand over the damaged lenses to his/her immediate superior together with incident report
2. Verify the work order versus actual prescription, lens type and frame
3. Perform Quality Check of the lenses or spectacles delivered by the supplier, firmly adhere to the Quality Control standard set by the PSM
4. Ask for the signed Eyewear Agreement Form before he adjust the frame
5. Never delay the job, cut the lenses once they placed in "for cutting" section
3. OTHER TASKS
1. Replace defective bulb and ballast, assist in minor maintenance repair
2. Report to his/her immediate superior in case of defective machine
3. Daily assessment of laboratory machines prior use to avoid damages
4. Does a weekly inventory of tools and machines, report to his immediate superior for any significant findings?
5. Ensure overall cleanliness of the workstation
6. Willingness to oversee the night work
7. Maintain cleanliness of the façade or show window glass, air vents
8. Must proceed at the selling area when he has no job order
9. Adheres to the branded customer
10. Well versed of the promo mechanics and basic product knowledge
11. Ability to close the sales
