Franchise Manager (Restaurant)

Job Summary:

The Franchise Manager will oversee and manage franchise operations for our restaurant chain, ensuring franchisee compliance with company standards and driving growth. This role requires a dynamic individual with extensive experience in restaurant operations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with franchisees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Franchise Development:

    • Identify and recruit potential franchisees.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of franchise sales and marketing strategies.
    • Evaluate franchise applications and conduct interviews.
  • Operational Oversight:

    • Provide support and guidance to franchisees to ensure successful restaurant operations.
    • Conduct regular visits to franchise locations to ensure adherence to company standards and operational procedures.
    • Implement best practices across all franchise locations to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Support:

    • Develop and deliver training programs for new franchisees and their staff.
    • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to franchisees to address operational challenges.
  • Compliance and Quality Control:

    • Ensure franchisees comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections of franchise locations.
    • Address non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Financial Management:

    • Monitor franchisee financial performance and provide guidance on financial management.
    • Assist franchisees in developing and achieving business plans and financial targets.
  • Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, acting as the primary point of contact between the franchisee and the company.
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between franchisees and corporate teams.
  • Marketing and Brand Management:

    • Support franchisees in executing local marketing initiatives.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all franchise locations.
    • Gather market insights and feedback to inform corporate marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant operations, with at least 2 years in a management role.
    • Proven experience in franchise management is highly desirable.
  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food safety and quality standards.
    • Financial acumen with the ability to analyze financial statements and performance metrics.
    • Problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve issues effectively.
    • Ability to travel extensively to franchise locations.
