Cashiering Operations Manager
Job Description:
1. JOB SUMMARY:
This job directly reports to the Sr. Manager Corporate Finance and is responsible in overseeing
and managing Cashiering Operations. This includes ensuring Cashiers and Cash Custodians
adhere to company's policies, accurately and timely report sales transactions and most especially provide excellent customer service. Also, this position manages Area Cashiering
Supervisors who conduct cashiering operations audit and provide administrative support to the
cash custodians in the assigned branches. Ensures accuracy and timely submission of Sales
Audit related reports and provides support to the operations on the day- to day transactions if
needed.

4. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Perspective
CoH/OpEx Budget Optimization
Prepare plans and programs for the Cashiering Operations in alignmentwith the Corporate Finance and PRG wide strategic objectives.
Prepare the budget for the Cashiering Operations and ensures that the section attains an overhead target (Budget) by continuously comparing and optimizing planned expenditures against actual spending.
Cash Balancing and Remittances
Monitors and ensures that cashiering operations end of day process of cash balancing and remittances are performed timely and accurately which includes but not limit to the following;
Barter end-of-day declaration and cash balancing
Cash custodian audits cash remittance vs sales report, sales summary of Bills Payment, PO/ GC system and other financial products; and prepares the deposit slip
Scanning and saving all sales related documents in Document
Management System (DMS)
Make sure deposit slips are prepared timely and deposited based onpick up schedules or deposit schedules
Customer Perspective
Ensures that all cashiering operations related reports to internal
customers like Sales Audit & Collection, Compliance and Store
Operations are prepared accurately and submitted timely
Develops strategies to increase customer satisfaction in relation to
cashiering services and contributes to overall amazing customer
experience
Be able to support cashier and customer service in resolving customer
complaints.
Evaluate and continuously improve the current Store Readiness
Assessment (SRA) scoring and other tools used by ACS to monitor
performance of overall cashiering operations section including customer
service and strengthen processes to provide better service
Internal Process Perspective
Responsible for establishing customer experience standards and ensuring that standards are met.
Manages and ensures that any new policies or continuous improvement of business processes are implemented properly and strictly followed by whole cashiering operations
Ensures that all stores maintain good organization of all important documents related to cashiering operations.
Ensures that all cash custodians comply with Internal Control policies for cashiering operations and that all ACS regularly provide report of Internal Control Matrix result
Organizational Capability Perspective
Be able to motivate and lead cashiers and customer service personnel to reach performance goals, ensure they receive proper training, and troubleshoot any customer issues that arise.
Conduct training for improvement of Cashiering team.
Provides regular performance feedback and coaching on a regular basis as well as providing direction and problem resolution to Cashiering team;
Creates individual developmental plan to Area Cashiering Supervisor and Cash Custodians.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelors degree in Management Accounting, Accountancy, Business Administration, or any
business related courses
Number of Hours of Relevant Trainings: None-required
Licensure and/or Certification Required: None-required
Number of years of relevant experience:
Minimum of 5 years related work experience in Cashiering Operations or Treasury Management
in Retail industry
TECHNICAL COMPETENCY NEEDS
Background in Accounting, credit and collection and other similar duties
Strong finance & operations audit experience
Strong analytical skills and keen to details
Knowledge of retail operations and cashiering process
Microsoft Office (excel, word, ppt)
Salary Package:
₱ 70,000.00 - 75,000.00 (Philippine Peso)
