Job Description:
Key Results Area Duties and Responsibilities
1 Strategic Leadership
1.01 Develop and execute a strategic vision for training and assessment programs to be offered by PNTC, in alignment with its goals and industry trends.
1.02 Provide leadership and direction to the respective teams in the Maritime Training and Assessment Center, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
2 Regulatory Compliance
2.01 Stays updated on maritime industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance of training programs.
2.02 Develop a proactive plan to ensure compliance with government regulations for PNTC's training programs.
2.03 In the event of non-compliance, to swiftly implement necessary adjustments to meet and exceed standards.
3 Stakeholder Engagement
3.01 Collaborate with maritime industry partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to enhance program relevance and industry alignment.
4 Curriculum Development & Implementation Oversight
4.01 Oversee the design and development of comprehensive maritime training curricula, ensuring they align with local and international standards and regulations.
4.02 Manage the implementation of training programs, ensuring they are delivered in accordance with local and international standards and regulations.
4.03 Monitor program effectiveness and instructor performance, and make the necessary adjustments to improve customer experience and examination outcome.
5 Assessment & Evaluation Oversight
5.01 Oversees the conduct of examination to ensure a streamlined and efficient process, in compliance with local and international standards.
5.02 Monitor assessment process and assessor performance, and make the necessary adjustments to improve customer experience, and assessment outcome.
6 Enrollment and Registration Oversight
6.01 Oversee the enrollment and registration process for trainees, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
6.02 Work closely with clients and partner maritime institutions to facilitate a seamless registration process.
6.03 Ensure that information and data are secured, protected, and stored throughout the entire registration and enrollment procedure, in compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations
6.04 Monitor the performance of Training Registrar's Office and make the necessary adjustments to improve customer experience.
7 Practicum Oversight 7.01 Oversees the conduct of practicum exercises to ensure strict adherence to maritime and environmental safety protocols and regulations.
7.02 Oversees the safekeeping, protection, storage of practicum equipment, tools, and teaching aids in accordance with safety procedures and internal company rules.
7.03 Liaise with the Maritime Industry of the Philippines (MARINA) and other relevant regulatory bodies and agencies to maintain program accreditation.
8 Budget Management
8.01 Develop and manage the training and assessment budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
8.02 Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.

9.02 Maintains professionalism and work ethic.
9.03 Safeguard the integrity of the company's services, diplomas, and certificates.

Qualifications
Educational Background Bachelors Degree in any related program; Master's degree is preferred
Licenses N/A
Work Experience Extensive experience in the maritime industry, including significant time spent in a leadership or training capacity.
Knowledge Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and standards.
Proven experience in curriculum development and program management.
Skills Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
