Offshore Accountant
Job Description:
Position Overview:
As an Offshore Accountant, you perform a range of services, including bookkeeping, tax preparation, financial analysis, and more, using digital tools and communication technologies. Your services will be outsourced to our direct clients where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Work Schedule and Arrangement: 10:00 PM- 7:00 AM PHT, Full time In-Office
Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu
Key Responsibilities of an Offshore Accountant:
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- General Ledger Maintenance
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including recording financial transactions, accruals, and adjustments.
- Analyze accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
- Accounts Payable
- Manage accounts payable functions, including verifying invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor relationships.
- Bank Reconciliation
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain records of financial transactions and ensure they align with bank statements.
- Financial Analysis
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights into the organization's financial performance.
- Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus).
- 2 years of experience in accounting/audit
- Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel and Google sheets.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial standards.
Salary Package:
₱ 30,000.00 - 40,000.00 (Philippine Peso)
