Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our restaurant chain in Cebu City. You will be responsible for managing a team of accountants, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and complying with all local and national regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, experience in the restaurant industry, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the restaurant chain, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management review.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local and national tax laws, accounting regulations, and company policies.
• Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monitor actual results against budget.
• Audits: Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Inventory Management: Work closely with the operations team to monitor inventory levels and track costs.
• System Optimization: Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes and systems.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in the restaurant industry is highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, proficiency in accounting software, excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
