About the Role

We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Beam Saw Panel Operator to join our production team in Doha. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating beam saw machinery, particularly in woodworking or cabinet manufacturing. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining beam saw machines to cut wood panels with precision based on design and production specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain beam saw panel machines for cutting wood and laminated boards according to project requirements.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting lists, and job orders accurately.

• Ensure materials are cut to the correct dimensions and tolerances.

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to keep machines in optimal condition.

• Monitor machine operations and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.

• Check finished pieces for accuracy, defects, or irregularities and ensure they meet quality standards.

• Maintain records of production output and materials used.

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a beam saw or panel saw operator, preferably in a joinery, woodworking, or kitchen/wardrobe manufacturing environment.

• Familiarity with beam saw machine brands like Holzma, SCM, or similar.

• Ability to read and interpret technical shop drawings and cutting diagrams.

• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

• Basic mechanical aptitude for machine adjustments and troubleshooting.

• Ability to work independently and follow production schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical/vocational certificate in woodworking or machine operations.

• Previous experience working in Qatar or GCC region is an advantage.

• Familiarity with digital panel cutting optimization software is a plus.
