Position Overview:
As a Noninvasive Vascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of noninvasive vascular tests, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment to assess vascular health. Your role will involve delivering clear, accurate results to healthcare providers, ensuring high standards of care and quality in line with BHSF and IAC guidelines. You will also contribute to the development and training of staff and students, helping prepare them for career advancement and certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of noninvasive vascular testing with precision and accuracy, adhering to BHSF and IAC standards.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is used safely and efficiently.
- Communicate test results to healthcare providers, providing accurate and detailed assessments of vascular health.
- Maintain a high level of medical ethics, and continuously seek to expand your knowledge of vascular diseases and emerging technologies.
- Serve as a clinical and technical resource to staff and students, supporting career development and registry preparedness.
- Collaborate with other team members to refine technical and personal skills through one-on-one training and clinical rotations.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Graduate from an accredited allied health program with a focus on cardiovascular ultrasonography.
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent in vascular technologies.
- CCI Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS).
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
- Advanced noninvasive vascular procedure experience is required, or eligibility for registry credentialing in abdominal testing or phlebology.
