We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist. This position will give you the opportunity to work closely with physicians in a dynamic setting, supporting vital cardiovascular procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care.
As an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist, you will provide crucial technical support during interventional and surgical procedures, including patient preparation, monitoring, and management of supplies and devices. You will assist in the operation of specialized imaging and fluoroscopic equipment, ensuring safe and effective procedures. Your role will also include being a key patient/family educator, advocate, and liaison, ensuring patients are informed and comfortable throughout their care journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with patient preparation and intra/post-procedural care.
- Manage supplies and devices used in cardiovascular procedures.
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to ensure safe and effective imaging during interventions.
- Monitor cardiac and physiologic patient data during procedures.
- Serve as a patient/family educatorand liaison, providing clear communication and support.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Cardiovascular Technology, Ultrasound, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Nursing, or similar health science programs.
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)certification required.
- Cardiovascular or Cardiopulmonary Technologist (CVT) certification from an accredited school.
- Experience:
- 1 year of experience in invasive cardiovascular technology required.
- Eligible to sit for the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) exam after one year of full-time work experience in invasive cardiovascular technology.
