 In this role, you will provide medically prescribed therapy services to support patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing functions.

Position Overview:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat patients requiring speech therapy services, working both independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will play a crucial role in improving patients' quality of life, independence, and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans based on medically prescribed therapy services
  • Provide therapy to patients to enhance communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing functions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient-centered, multidisciplinary care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Demonstrate dependability and flexibility, including the ability to work weekends, holidays, and late hours on a rotational basis as needed

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters Degree required
  • Licenses & Certifications:

    • Current and valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist License
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
