Key Qualifications:

We are seeking a finance expert with deep knowledge and hands-on experience in DoD government contracting. As the Director of Finance, you'll guide company leadership with robust financial insights and lead a dedicated financial team, ensuring top-notch management of accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape financial strategy by leading in-depth financial analysis (value chain, modeling, ROI, cash flow) to support business leaders and drive strategic decisions.
  • Take charge of forecasting and business analytics, ensuring accurate predictions of volume and revenue.
  • Dive into results, recommend performance-improving actions, and develop solutions to achieve business goals.
  • Keep a pulse on external performance to inform key decisions, all while maintaining a customer-focused financial management approach.
  • Communicate your findings effectively, providing insights into implications, risks, and opportunities.
  • Present expert analyses using sophisticated financial models and measures.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance. CPA preferred.
  • 7+ years of senior-level financial experience.
  • Mastery of Annual Business Planning and strategic thinking.
  • Strong expertise in P&L management, revenue growth, and forecasting within DoD-related business lines.
  • Ability to evaluate business goals and analyze financials to provide actionable insights.
  • Robust change management skills with a knack for innovative business solutions.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Proven experience in Defense contracting with compliance knowledge of CAS, FAR, and DCAA.
  • Familiarity with ERP software, particularly DELTEK COSTPOINT.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.
