- Drive Revenue & Market Share: Develop and execute a winning strategy to surpass revenue and margin targets while expanding market presence.
- Lead High-Impact Teams: Inspire and empower a team of 25-30 professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Own the Product Lifecycle: Oversee demand planning, product positioning, and new product introductions that solve critical customer packaging challenges.
- Collaborate for Success: Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Commercial Excellence, and HR to align business priorities and achieve growth goals.
Your Mission as General Manager
As a key leader in their Packaging business, you will develop and execute a Growth Strategy, set the vision for the future, and ensure Sealed Air remains the market leader in protective packaging solutions.
Maximize Profitability Own the product P&L, from pricing strategy to portfolio management, ensuring a cost-effective, market-leading product mix.
Innovate and solve Customer Challenges. Leverage Packaging Application Centers and Design Engineers to develop groundbreaking packaging solutions that drive customer success.
Lead and inspire a High-Performance Team. Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Stay ahead of the Market. We monitor industry trends, economic drivers, and customer needs to continuously refine and strengthen our market position.
What You Bring to the Table
Proven Leadership A track record of exceeding revenue and margin targets while growing market share in a B2B manufacturing environment.
Strategic & Tactical Execution Ability to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on Leadership to drive results.
Industry Knowledge Experience in packaging (preferred) or other industrial sectors, managing multiple product lines with complex portfolios.
Innovative Mindset A passion for problem-solving and driving continuous improvement.
Strong Business Acumen Deep understanding of pricing strategies, competitive positioning, and P&L ownership.
Your Background & Experience
- 10+ years in B2B marketing, product management, or general management within a manufacturing company.
- Expertise in marketing premium, value-based products (not commodities).
- Experience managing consumables and equipment, successfully tying the two together.
- Success implementing CRM, lead generation, and lead nurturing strategies.
- A hands-on leader comfortable working in a lean, high-performance environment.
