A community-based acute care hospital in western North Carolina is adding a CT Technologist to its Imaging Services team.
The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m., giving you a consistent four-day workweek without rotating between different schedules.
The position also offers an $8,000 sign-on bonus and a base salary of $62,816–$84,804, based on experience and qualifications.

Your Week at a Glance
Monday–Thursday
3:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m.
Full-time
Three days off each week
This is an on-site hospital imaging position in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. There is no travel requirement.
The Work
You'll perform CT imaging while providing the patient communication and clinical attention that are essential to a good imaging experience.
Your day-to-day practice will include:
- Reviewing patient histories and physician orders before imaging
- Explaining procedures and equipment so patients know what to expect
- Positioning patients and performing diagnostic CT examinations
- Preparing and administering contrast media and medications within your scope of practice and according to physician orders
- Monitoring patients and responding appropriately to changes in condition
- Reviewing images for diagnostic quality and identifying when corrective imaging or repositioning is necessary
- Following radiation, patient, and equipment safety standards
- Performing quality-control checks
- Recognizing, troubleshooting, and reporting equipment issues
- Accurately entering, transmitting, and reporting imaging information
- Participating in continuing education and performance-improvement activities
You'll work closely with other members of the imaging and clinical teams while maintaining a strong focus on image quality, patient safety, and patient experience.

You'll need:
- An Associate Degree
- Current ARRT registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- CT certification through ARRT or the ability to obtain CT certification within one year of hire or transfer into the position

Compensation & Sign-On Bonus
Base salary: $62,816–$84,804
Compensation within the range is based on experience and qualifications.
The position also currently offers:
$8,000 sign-on bonus
