FSM - Functional Safety

We are currently looking for FMS - Functional Safety Engineers to work in Tarragona Spain with an important TIER 1 company in the automotive industry.

The position, which reports to the Functional Safety Supervisor, main objectives are:

• Supervise safety related projects ISO26262 compliance, from cradle to grave.
• Ensure safety case completion and execution of safety assessments where required
• Lead the adoption of safety culture
• Provide functional safety consultancy services to other departments

The position is responsible for:

• Safety Case completion in FS related projects
• LPMP safety work products timely delivery
• Project support from RFQ to SOP
• Direct contact with customer for FSM affairs
• Support to other departments ISO26262 adaption
• Impact evaluation
• Provide trainings in Functional Safety
• Lead and manage FS aspects with OEM counter partners
• Ensure that Confirmation Measures are performed
• Agree DIA with customer

To apply to this role you must have:

• Proven previous experience in FSM activities and work products generation
• At least 3 years proven experience in functional safety related activities
• Experience in providing safety related training and/or coaching
• Proficient in ISO26262
• English language skills are a must, German desirable
• High communication and presentation skills
