About the job 3D CAD Design

ALDIA works with its own group of consultants to improve quality, create stability, minimize risks and provide technological and innovative solutions by being part of all phases of the complete life cycle of the processes incorporating the agile methodology in each of them.
We are currently looking for a 3D CAD Design Engineer to join our team of consultants on an indefinite basis, located in UK, France, Spain or Turkey.
Responsibilities or duties:
- Design expertise on CATIA v5 for harness development
- 3D data management, example using Teamcenter
- Perform W/H DMU routing and layout package according to customer standards
- Create concept design studies utilising CAE tools and physical bucks
- Create Design Intention Sheets
- Perform and report on D-FMEA activities
- Prepare 2D mark-ups for implementation in the Design
- Perform and report on D-FMEA and P-FMEA activities
- Support design reviews, prototype harness and vehicle builds at company and customer locations.
- Identify, track and resolve EDS design and manufacturing issues.
- Ensure EDS routing and package design is compatible with vehicle environment
- Participate in TVM, VA/VE and benchmarking activities. Generate, review and evaluate potential cost reduction ideas.
- Carry out CAD assembly investigations together with the responsible project engineers in virtual vehicle assembly rooms and preparation of the corresponding documentation
- Apply the customer specifications and ensure DM conformity at the design level
- Preparation of 3D CAD design drafts for wiring harness components, e.g. cable channels, brackets and fixing parts as a basis for the detail design by the component supplier.
