ALDIA works with its own group of consultants to improve quality, create stability, minimize risks and provide technological and innovative solutions by being part of all phases of the complete life cycle of the processes incorporating the agile methodology in each of them.

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our team of consultants on an indefinite basis, located in UK.

Responsibilities or duties:

As part of the Central Test Technology Team reporting to the, POS Module Manager (Post assembly/Testing). Your duties shall involve the Software creation and maintenance test systems. Specifically to:

  • Actively participate as a member of an international multi-disciplined team working on engineering systems
  • Complete the full life cycle encompassing concept, design, coding, testing, documentation, end user training and support
  • Possibly commission at one of our overseas production sites
  • Work on pre-existing software to add new functionality and improvements
  • Maintenance of production systems across several UK and Global sites
  • Actively finding innovative solutions to production related problems

What are we looking for?

  • Diploma/ Degree in Software Engineering or similar
  • Strong competency/experience in C++
  • Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, C#, SQL, VB6
  • International team player
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent English language skills essential
  • Willing to travel worldwide

Desirable:

  • Automotive, electrical testing, vision testing & production systems
  • Embedded C and/or assembly language for μControllers (Microchip especially)
  • Website design and associated technologies
  • Experience in TCP/IP communications
