Role Overview 

HR for Health is a fast-growing SaaS company serving healthcare practices across the U.S. Salesforce is the backbone of our Sales, Operations, and Finance workflows. We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator & Developer to take full ownership of our Salesforce environment; ensuring it runs smoothly day-to-day, while also building, debugging, and enhancing it through Apex development and integrations. 

This is a hybrid role combining the responsibilities of a Salesforce Administrator and a Salesforce Developer. You will handle system maintenance, user support, and data quality while also writing Apex code, building advanced Flows, and debugging API integrations with third-party systems. This role replaces outsourced admin and dev support, consolidating responsibilities into one dedicated full-time resource.


Key Responsibilities 

Administration & Maintenance 

  • Monitor system health and troubleshoot automation errors (Flows, Validation Rules, Apex jobs, DLRS failures). 
  • Manage user support (resolving MFA/login issues, password resets, record access problems). 
  • Perform data quality checks (deduplication, invalid field values, sync issues with HubSpot, Stripe, etc.). 
  • Maintain and update reports & dashboards (both Salesforce native and CRMA). 
  • Conduct regular security/compliance checks (permission sets, FLS, MFA, audit trails). 
  • Clean up unused fields, reports, dashboards, and optimize storage usage. 
  • Stay current with Salesforce release notes; test and deploy new features from Sandbox to Production. 

Development & Integrations 

  • Write and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and test coverage. 
  • Enhance and refactor Flows and other declarative automations for performance and scalability. 
  • Debug and maintain API integrations with third-party systems (Stripe, HubSpot, Groove, Dialpad, RevHero, Doc Gen tools). 
  • Implement logic changes, field swaps, formula updates, and flow optimizations as business needs evolve. 
  • Partner with stakeholders to scope, develop, test, and roll out new features.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Support 

  • Serve as the go-to expert for Salesforce capability questions (Can Salesforce do this?). 
  • Document changes and maintain admin/developer guides for sustainability. 
  • Provide occasional training and enablement support for Sales, CS, and Finance teams. 
  • Partner with Sales Admin to improve adoption, enforce data quality, and ensure accurate reporting. 

Qualifications 

  • 4-6 years of combined Salesforce Administration and Development experience. 
  • Required Certifications: Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I. 
  • Preferred Certifications: Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II. 
  • Bonus / Highly Competitive: Integration Architect, Data Architect, or Application Architect; CRM Analytics (CRMA) Consultant. 
  • Proven ability to design, develop, test, and deploy Apex classes, triggers, and test coverage. 
  • Strong experience with declarative automation (Flows, validation rules, object model design). 
  • Hands-on experience debugging and maintaining external APIs and connected apps (e.g., Stripe, HubSpot, telephony tools). 
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce security (profiles, permission sets, FLS, role hierarchy). 
  • Proficiency with tools like Data Loader, Workbench, and VS Code/SFDX. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively across teams.
