Your daily responsibilities:
As an L2 Support Engineer, you will become a part of an international team responsible for engineering activities to support production services and infrastructure in a cloud-native environment. If you like to work with us, let us share our need for competencies.
Your daily responsibilities:
- Application incidents analysis in preproduction and production environments, root cause analysis, and reports preparation;
- Management of preproduction and production environments ensuring safe day-to-day operations;
- Create and operate extra tools or services whenever required;
- Prepare for production operations and further maintenance of the production environments. Ensure that accurate operations are performed and that all actions are done in a documented way;
- Perform validation and execution of requests received from development and account management teams;
- Document the setup of production environments in order to build a safe and reliable knowledge base;
- Be a technical expert on Company products deployed to the production environment;
- You will have a key role in identifying and implementing practices to deliver constant improvement;
- Report implementation, configuration, and testing progress to the Team Lead as required;
- Cooperate with other teams and stakeholders in an international environment to ensure the delivery of the end-to-end SLA for managed solutions;
- Participate in on-call duties to ensure uninterrupted operations of the production environment.
- Experience with Unix (preferably Ubuntu), including shell scripting;
- Knowledge of networks, network protocols, and setup of the network elements;
- Experience with operations of multi-tier software systems;
- Strong and hands-on experience with troubleshooting processes to detect exact, proven root causes of incidents;
- Skills for managing a virtualized environment (containerized environment experience is highly welcomed);
- Knowledge of cloud concepts (AWS preferred);
- Knowledge of generic SQL database concepts and operations;
- Communication that leads to excellent working relationships with all parties;
- Take ownership of issue resolution;
- Quickly identify, analyze, and proactively solve problems before they affect the outcomes of the platform;
- Ability to identify and deliver improvement;
- Good English oral and written communication skills (in the areas of technical document writing).
- Quickly learn and become an expert in new skills and technologies;
- Quickly gain credibility and build successful relationships with teammates, customers, and third parties;
- Work effectively with people across multiple organizational, functional, geographic, and cultural boundaries, and across a wide spectrum of technical and professional skills;
- Work autonomously as and when required;
- Ability to mentor younger teammates;
- Basic knowledge of blockchain technologies;
- Able to travel as and when reasonably requested.
