About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a global leader in semiconductor solutions to find a passionate and technically sharp Online Field Application Engineer (FAE) — Analog & Power. This is a client-facing technical role where you will be the go-to expert for mass market customers and channel partners across your region, providing both pre- and post-sales engineering support on industry-leading analog and power products.

If you live and breathe power electronics, love solving complex design challenges, and thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment — this role was built for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Serve as the primary technical resource for customers and partner FAEs on catalog Analog & Power products
  • Provide personalized post-sales support via email and video — diagnosing real design problems and solving them efficiently
  • Partner with sales teams on pre-sales engagements, understanding customer requirements and positioning the right product solutions competitively
  • Enable and upskill distribution partner FAEs with training materials, demos, and technical collateral they need to win
  • Escalate and highlight gaps in customer opportunities, actively participating in regional business reviews
  • Own your customer relationships — be their advocate internally and their most trusted technical contact externally

What You'll Bring

  • 18-30 months of hands-on experience with Analog and Power products (P2/P3 level depending on experience)
  • Solid foundational knowledge across:
    • DC-DC converters (Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost)
    • Battery Management Systems
    • Discrete Power components
    • Analog building blocks (Op-Amps, ADC, DAC)
  • Understanding of passive/active power elements (inductors, capacitors) and basic layout and thermal considerations
  • Strong communication skills — confident explaining complex technical concepts 1-on-1, in writing, and in group settings
  • Ability to manage multiple open customer issues simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • Genuine passion for embedded systems and power/analog design
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 5%)

How Success Is Measured

  • Design-ins confirmed with customers (DIN)
  • Opportunities successfully moved to production (DWIN)
  • Regional revenue contribution as part of a collaborative team goal

Why This Role
