About the job Business Development Manager - €57k + OTE

Our client, a global messaging platform provider, is looking for a Business Development Manager, who will be responsible for bringing in new business within Germany. The main objective will be to obtain new clients and creating strong business relationships to increase sales revenue. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Researching organisations and individuals to generate new opportunities 
  • Developing new markets to improve sales 
  • Contacting potential clients to build relationships and arrange meetings 
  • Producing quotes and proposals for clients 
  • Engaging with stakeholders throughout the business 
  • Working with the Marketing department to improve the effectiveness of on and offline marketing to maximise sales 
  • Demonstrate the core business values at all times


Skills/Experience Required: 

  • Previous experience and a proven track record in a similar role 
  • Experience of performing sales planning and pipeline management 
  • Strong negotiation skills 
  • Experience of winning long-term contracts 
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships 
  • Demonstrate understanding and experience of value-based selling and contracting to large companies 
  • Experience of selling technology products or services 
  • Experience working with social media 
  • Target focused 
  • Excellent knowledge of CRM, Salesforce experience is desirable 
  • Confident presentation skills, with proven experience of presenting to small audiences 
  • Experience with dealing with a complex sales process, which involves multiple stakeholders
