System Engineer Windows Infrastructure & Security Compliance (APAC)
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for the ongoing support and upkeep of Windows-based infrastructureboth server and workstation environmentsprimarily focusing on IT security compliance, patch management, and vulnerability resolution across the Asia region.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Level 2 support for system deployment tools (SCCM) and assist in ensuring infrastructure meets internal security policies and external regulatory requirements.

Investigate and resolve patching failures on both servers and client machines, working in close collaboration with Wintel, Service Desk, and Cybersecurity teams.

Monitor, manage, and support infrastructure components including:
- Microsoft Windows Servers
- Windows-based Workstations
- Configuration and deployment tools (e.g., SCCM)
- O365 environment (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)

Assist in remediation efforts for security vulnerabilities and ensure endpoint and server platforms are continuously compliant with corporate standards.

Collaborate regularly with the regional Risk, IT Security, and Compliance functions to maintain audit readiness and security posture.

Drive or participate in key infrastructure initiatives such as software rollouts, endpoint upgrades, or vulnerability remediation projects.

Log incidents and service requests with detailed documentation, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation when required.

Maintain and update technical documentation, infrastructure records, and inventory of systems/assets.

Support backend automation efforts with infrastructure teams to streamline support operations.

Identify areas of risk across system environments and recommend improvements or mitigation strategies.

Ensure all technology assets are properly tracked and monitored for performance and security compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience supporting Windows platforms in an enterprise environment, especially in the area of patching and vulnerability management.
- Hands-on expertise with SCCM and modern desktop/server management practices.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office 365 administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in endpoint and server environments.
- Familiarity with IT security standards, compliance frameworks, and regulatory guidelines in a corporate IT setting.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and supporting multiple locations or regions is a plus.
