Data Analyst

Our client, a leading financial institution specializing in trading strategies and solutions, is seeking a Data Analyst to develop and implement trading data strategies for multi-asset class trading functions.

Role Responsibilities:

• Collect raw data from business users, clean, and prepare it for analysis.
• Apply statistical methods and software tools to analyze data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate new data and support existing data, following established procedures.
• Provide detailed requirements and work with technical teams to design effective data integration and management solutions.
• Develop and execute testing strategies, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for changes and enhancements.
• Create and implement quality metrics, ensuring data quality meets user expectations.
• Identify, track, and resolve data issues promptly to maintain service level agreements (SLAs).
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Suggest process improvements and streamline workflows.
• Maintain strong relationships with data vendors for ongoing support and knowledge sharing.
• Respond to user and vendor queries quickly, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with team members to establish best practices and improve internal processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 5 years of relevant experience in data, including 3 years of hands-on experience in data management or analytics.
• Solid understanding of data stewardship responsibilities, including engaging stakeholders, implementing data quality checks, conducting UAT, and supporting operational activities.
• Good knowledge of data management principles and key controls.
• Strong experience with databases and programming languages.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
