We are hiring for lifting inspector 

Position: Lifting Inspector
Department: Operations / Maintenance / HSE
Location: Onshore / Offshore

Job Purpose

Ensure all lifting equipment, accessories, and lifting operations are inspected, certified, and compliant with ADNOC requirements and international safety standards to prevent incidents and maintain safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect lifting equipment and accessories such as cranes, slings, shackles, hooks, spreader beams, and lifting beams.
• Verify certification, colour coding, and compliance of lifting gear.
• Ensure compliance with LOLER, LEEA, ADNOC COP, BS, ISO, and ASME standards.
• Witness load testing and maintain test certifications.
• Review lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Remove defective lifting equipment from service immediately.
• Maintain inspection records, reports, and equipment registers.
• Support audits, investigations, and compliance inspections.
• Provide guidance on safe lifting practices and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with Operations, HSE, and contractors to ensure compliance.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ADNOC HSE requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of lifting inspection experience in Oil & Gas, Offshore, or Heavy Industry.
• ADNOC project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations and inspection procedure

Mandatory Certifications

• LEEA Certification (Level 1 or Level 2 minimum)
• Valid Lifting Inspector Certification
• ADNOC-approved certification (if required)
• H2S Certification (for offshore roles)
• BOSIET / FOET (for offshore roles)

Key Skills

• Strong hazard identification and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of international lifting standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and lifting arrangements.
• Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
