Responsibilities:

• Inspect and assess the condition of tires on heavy vehicles, such as trucks, buses, and construction equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tires, including rotation, balancing, and replacing worn or damaged tires
• Use tools and equipment such as jacks, air compressors, and tire changing machines to perform tasks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot tire issues and provide appropriate solutions
• Keep accurate records of tire inventory and maintenance performed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and prioritize work

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tire Technician, preferably in a heavy vehicle company
• Knowledge of different types of tires and their specifications
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in tire maintenance and repair
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and be on call for emergency repairs
