Position: IT Desktop Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Desktop Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining the overall IT infrastructure of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and other IT equipment.

- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings.

- Monitor and maintain the company's network and servers.

- Conduct regular backups and ensure data security and integrity.

- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and upgrades.

- Provide technical support to end-users and ensure timely resolution of IT-related issues.

- Develop and maintain IT documentation and procedures.

- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and recommend improvements to the existing IT infrastructure.

- Manage hardware and software inventory and ensure timely replacements and upgrades.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Desktop Engineer or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.

- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.

- Familiarity with network infrastructure and troubleshooting tools.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) will be an added advantage.
