Job Description

We are seeking a General Insurance Coordinator with strong experience in the UAE construction sector to manage and coordinate all construction-related insurance policies. The role requires hands-on knowledge of Builders Risk Insurance, Workers Compensation, Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions), and Contractors All Risks (CAR) Insurance, ensuring full compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, and project contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer Builders Risk Insurance covering structures, materials, and equipment at construction sites

  • Coordinate Contractors All Risks (CAR) Insurance, including material damage and third-party liability coverage

  • Handle Workers Compensation Insurance in compliance with UAE labor and insurance regulations

  • Manage Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) Insurance for consultants, engineers, and design-build contractors

  • Liaise with UAE-based insurers and brokers for policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and certificates

  • Ensure insurance coverage meets client, consultant, and contractual requirements for each project

  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance claims until final settlement

  • Maintain accurate insurance records, policy schedules, and claims documentation

  • Monitor policy expiry dates and ensure timely renewals to avoid coverage gaps

  • Support project, commercial, and finance teams with insurance-related documentation and compliance

Requirements

  • Available in the UAE and able to join immediately

  • Bachelors degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Relevant insurance certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in construction-related insurance

  • Proven experience handling Builders Risk, CAR, Workers Compensation, and Professional Liability Insurance

  • Construction industry background is mandatory

  • Familiar with UAE insurance practices, documentation, and claims procedures

  • Strong coordination, negotiation, and communication skills
