About the job Penetration Tester

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive penetration tests across infrastructure, networks, web, and mobile applications.
  • Perform Red Teaming exercises to simulate adversary tactics and test security resilience.
  • Develop and document test cases, exploits, and methodologies for ongoing security assessments.
  • Perform post-remediation verification testing to ensure vulnerabilities are mitigated.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining identified vulnerabilities, associated risks, and remediation recommendations.
  • Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior cybersecurity team members.
  • Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack tactics.
  • Assist clients with threat modeling to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Analyze and review code for security vulnerabilities, ensuring secure application development.

Required Qualifications:

1.Proven expertise in conducting penetration tests across multiple domains
(infrastructure, network, applications).

2.Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, including MITRE
ATT&CK, OWASP, and NIST.

3.Bachelors degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.

4.Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, CRTP, eCPPT, EJPT,
CEH, Ewapt, CREST, or SANS/GIAC

5.Proficiency with penetration testing tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit,
Nessus, Nmap, and C2 frameworks.

6.Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for
automation and vulnerability analysis.

7.Strong programming skills for analyzing and exploiting security flaws

8.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts clearly.

9.A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a passion for improving security practices.
