Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of our company and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. You will work closely with our finance team to analyze financial data, prepare financial reports, and provide recommendations for improving our financial performance. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of the company's financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger - Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts - Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve financial performance - Ensure compliance with all accounting and tax regulations - Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships - Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts - Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial reports to regulatory agencies - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting - Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting - Assist with annual audit and provide supporting documentation as needed - Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and best practices Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - CPA certification preferred - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Experience in retail or wholesale industry preferred We offer a competitive salary and benefits package for this full-time position.
