SAP ABAP Fiori Lead

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP / BTP / Fiori Lead for a 12-month onsite contract in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will lead technical design, development, and integration activities across SAP ABAP, SAP BTP, and SAP Fiori/UI5 landscapes for a large-scale SAP implementation or enhancement project.

This role requires strong hands-on expertise combined with technical leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end technical design and development across SAP ABAP, BTP, and Fiori
• Architect and develop scalable solutions in S/4HANA environment
• Design and implement OData services, CDS Views, RAP model
• Lead SAP BTP extensions (Extension Suite / CAP Model)
• Develop and review RICEF objects
• Oversee Fiori/UI5 app development and customizations
• Provide technical leadership to development team (code reviews, best practices, governance)
• Manage integration with third-party systems via APIs and middleware
• Work closely with functional consultants, architects, and client stakeholders
• Ensure performance optimization and adherence to SAP best practices
• Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP experience
• 3+ years in a Technical Lead role
• Strong expertise in:
• ABAP (Reports, ALV, BAPI, RFC, IDocs, Enhancements, BADI)
• SAP Fiori / SAPUI5
• SAP Gateway & OData services
• SAP BTP (Extension Suite, CAP preferred)
• CDS Views, AMDP, HANA optimization
• RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and integration patterns
• Proven experience leading offshore/onshore development teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
