Introduction

This role focuses on providing comprehensive support for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules, SAP Project System, and Professional Services solutions. The consultant ensures system stability, resolves application issues, and supports project-based and financial processes while maintaining compliance with standards and regulations. The position requires a blend of technical SAP expertise and a solid understanding of financial principles.

Roles and Responsibilities

System Maintenance and Support

o Provide day-to-day support for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules.

o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO).

o Support SAP Project System (internal projects, cost collection, asset accounting integration) and/or Professional Services solutions (project-based services, consulting, outsourcing).

o Ensure data integrity and compliance with financial standards and regulations.

Configuration and Customization

o Configure and customize SAP modules to meet business requirements for bug fixes or change requests.

o Implement changes and enhancements based on user feedback and business needs.

Collaboration and Communication

o Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP systems.

o Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Qualifications

Education

o Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.

o High proficiency in English (verbal and written).

Experience

o Minimum of 5 years in SAP project or application support, specifically with SAP S/4HANA FICO.

o Proven experience in implementing/supporting SAP Project System or Professional Services solutions.

o Strong troubleshooting skills for SAP-related issues.

o Familiarity with ITIL methodology preferred.

o Knowledge of ITSM tools (ServiceNow or similar) for ticket management.

Skills

o Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance processes (New GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Product Cost Controlling, Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Profit Center Accounting).

o Expertise in SAP Professional Services (Resource Management, Fiori apps, Project Billing, Customer/Internal Project Management) OR SAP Project System (WBS, Network Plans, Time Schedule, Cost & Revenue Planning, Project Budgeting, Progress Analysis, Reporting).

o Excellent knowledge of SAP configuration tools and techniques.

o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

o Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Certifications

o SAP certification in FICO or Project System preferred.
