Data Analyst

Role Overview

12 month contract. Between R550 - R700 per hour. 

Help us modernize payments infrastructure by analyzing complex payment flows and documenting requirements for a new order management platform. You'll be key to shaping the future of financial services technology.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years as a Data Analyst in financial services or payments

- Deep understanding of payment lifecycles and transactional data

- Strong SQL skills for data analysis

- Experience documenting business and data requirements

- Excellent analytical and stakeholder engagement skills

- Familiarity with South African payment rails (PayShap, RTC, EFT) is a plus

What You'll Do

- Analyze payment processes and map end-to-end journeys

- Identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities in payment data

- Document requirements for a new Payments Order Management platform

- Define key operational metrics and reporting standards
