Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Junior Marketing Manager to take ownership of marketing activities for a growing FMCG and commodities business in Congo. This is a plug-and-play role suited to someone comfortable working in an informal, fast-moving environment where marketing is already happening but lacks structure.
This role will be the first dedicated marketing hire in the region and will play a key role in shaping brand governance across a portfolio of 10 brands, spanning food and commodity products across three verticals.
Key Responsibilities

Execute and improve existing on-the-ground promotional and marketing activities

Develop a basic marketing structure and processes where none currently exist

Build strong product understanding across multiple FMCG and commodity brands

Support and execute campaigns, with exposure to full campaign lifecycles

Assist in brand governance across a multi-brand portfolio

Work closely with backend/support teams to improve consistency and reporting

Track and understand marketing numbers, spend, and performance

Begin laying the groundwork for a local marketing team
Growth Opportunity
This role offers a clear progression path. Once a Group Marketing Manager is appointed, this position is expected to grow into a Central/Regional Marketing Lead role.
