Aim Recruitment is recruiting a Support worker for our client based in Colchester.

This is a great opportunity to join a team that provides quality care to adults that have learning difficulties and support them throughout their day-to-day activities and tasks. Within a supported living home based in Colchester with opportunities to undertake further training and development!

Job Role

- Support residents in daily tasks, personal care, mealtime, and food prep! Helping them plan exciting meals that fit with their diet plans.

- Assisting in fun activities for the resident such as trips to the cinema, sporting events, and seasonal parties. You will also support them in picking holidays of their choice whilst promoting independence.

- Working alongside the home manager and coordinator to undertake tasks that contribute to the smooth running of the home and contribute to a positive working environment.

- Providing and completing all relevant records to a high standard

Requirements

- To have a positive, confident, and calm approach.

- To be a good team player as well as being able to work on your own.

- 12 hour shifts are required so enthusiasm and a positive environment are key.

- Previous experience is not required but is desirable for this role.

- A valid UK driving license
