About the job Backend Engineer (Golang)
We are looking for Backend Engineers with strong Golang experience to support the development and migration of a SaaS product in the marketplace sector for our client. The role involves building scalable backend services, supporting migration activities, and collaborating closely with the team in a flexible project setup.
Project/Client: Marketplace
Location: Vilnius, occasional on-site work in Vilnius may be expected.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 18–24 months with possible extension
Language: Lithuanian preferred
Contract: B2B
Hourly rate: 40-45 EUR/h
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Golang
- Support migration activities for a growing SaaS product
- Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and deliver technical requirements
- Contribute to a flexible delivery setup as project needs evolve
- Participate in technical discussions and interviews where needed to ensure strong team fit
Must-Have Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Golang backend development
- Experience working on SaaS products or scalable backend systems
- Ability to work flexibly in a changing project environment
- Availability for occasional on-site work in Vilnius
- Lithuanian language skills preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and cultural fit within a fast-moving product team
