About the Role

In this position, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services that power slot content distribution, integrations, and supporting systems. You'll ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and secure.

You'll collaborate closely with a cross-functional product and engineering team, contribute to application architecture, and help deliver reliable performance across multiple partner environments.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience as mid/senior back-end developer.
• Design, develop, and maintain server applications with a strong focus on PHP.
• Collaborate with your colleagues to improve and expand the functionalities of our back-end platform infrastructure.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Develop and optimize database structures and queries.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Work within an Ubuntu environment to deploy, maintain, and optimize applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in the English language.
• Awareness of- and implementing- best practices regarding security is essential

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in PHP development (Symfony, or other frameworks is a plus).
• Experience with MySQL and/or MongoDB databases.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Strong understanding of full-stack development concepts and practices

Optional Skills

• Hands-on experience working with Ubuntu OS.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML5.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Understanding of version control systems such as GitLab
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems, Apache2
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in the English language.
• Awareness of- and implementing- best practices regarding security is essential.
