About the job Middle Project Manager
For our client, we are looking for a Project Manager with experience in IT project management and Agile methodologies, ready to relocate to Budapest and work in an office-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to define requirements.
- Translate requirements into a structured backlog with clear and estimable project tasks.
- Establish priorities and prepare release/sprint plans.
- Ensure transparency in communication with stakeholders.
- Maintain continuous engagement and feedback from stakeholders.
- Develop project schedules and manage network diagrams & roadmaps.
- Identify risks, maintain risk registers, and monitor regularly.
- Implement improvements to increase project value and enhance product quality.
- Track budgets and forecast costs.
- Manage team capacity, including vacations, sick leave, and holidays.
- Oversee communication management and project reporting.
Candidate Requirements (Must-Have):
2+ years of experience in IT project management.
Fluent English (B2-C1) both written and spoken.
Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile mindset.
Ability to understand client needs and solve problems effectively.
Passion for continuous improvement and active contribution to project success.
Ability to motivate colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
Nice-to-Have (Would Be a Plus):
Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Basic understanding of non-relational databases (MongoDB).
Knowledge of distributed computing concepts and technologies.
Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Talend, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, etc.).
Work Conditions:
Location: Candidate must relocate to Budapest and work on-site from day one.
Salary: $2,500 - $4,000 Gross
Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (European time zone).
Team Composition: Mostly English-speaking, plus Ukrainian (colleagues from different experience levels: Juniors, Middles, Seniors).
Office format only remote work is not an option.
Hiring Process:
1️ Pre-Screening.
2️ Testing (72 hours, unpaid).
3️ Interview with a recruiter and technical experts.
4️ 1-2 additional interviews (optional).
Offer within 2 weeks after the interview.
Important: The company has 3 PM departments, so if a candidate is strong but not a fit for one department, they may be interviewed for another.
