For our client, we are looking for a Middle Project Manager. Our client is a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services with an office in Budapest (Váci Green Föveny u. 6).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to define requirements.
  • Translate requirements into a structured backlog with clear and estimable project tasks.
  • Establish priorities and prepare release/sprint plans.
  • Ensure transparency in communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain continuous engagement and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Develop project schedules and manage network diagrams & roadmaps.
  • Identify risks, maintain risk registers, and monitor regularly.
  • Implement improvements to increase project value and enhance product quality.
  • Track budgets and forecast costs.
  • Manage team capacity, including vacations, sick leave, and holidays.
  • Oversee communication management and project reporting.

Candidate Requirements (Must-Have):

  • 2+ years of experience in IT project management.
  • Fluent English (B2-C1) both written and spoken.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile mindset.
  • Ability to understand client needs and solve problems effectively.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and active contribution to project success.
  • Ability to motivate colleagues and share knowledge within the team.

Nice-to-Have (Would Be a Plus):

  • Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Basic understanding of non-relational databases (MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of distributed computing concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Talend, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, etc.).

Work Conditions:

  • Location: Candidate must relocate to Budapest and work on-site from day one.
  • Salary: $2,500 - $4,000 Gross 
  • Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (European time zone).
  • Team Composition: Mostly English-speaking, plus Ukrainian (colleagues from different experience levels: Juniors, Middles, Seniors).
  • Office format only remote work is not an option.

Hiring Process:

1️  Pre-Screening.
2️ Testing (72 hours, unpaid).
3️ Interview with a recruiter and technical experts.
4️ 1 additional interview (optional).
Offer within 2 weeks after the interview.
