We are currently looking for a Middle Business Analyst (IT) for our client a leading Ukrainian IT company with almost 30 years of professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define business needs and goals, transforming pain points and business opportunities into valuable solutions.
  • Elicit functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders.
  • Prepare requirements specifications using Plain Text, Use Case Scenarios, and User Stories (Fixed Scope or Agile).
  • Build visual models using UML/BPMN diagrams to support specifications.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX experts to conduct UX analysis and create wireframes.
  • Act as the bridge between business and development, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Drive project processes alongside project/product managers, ensuring excellent service delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer in IT.
English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher (both written and verbal).
Strong knowledge of BA tasks and techniques (BABOK v3).
Understanding of SDLC and software development methodologies.
Experience with process modeling and notations (BPMN, UML).
Good understanding of UI/UX design principles and wireframing (Figma, Axure, Balsamiq).
Familiarity with client-server architecture, network protocols, API, and mobile platforms.
Experience in working with distributed and multinational teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Technical/software development background.
Experience with pre-sales activities as a BA or Sales Manager.
Familiarity with requirements engineering standards.
Experience writing requirement specifications using Confluence / JIRA.
Knowledge of various business domains.
Willingness to travel for business trips to Budapest.

Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Proactive and eager to learn new domains and technologies.
Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.

Work Conditions:

  • Office-based position in Kharkiv or Poltava (priority, but candidates from all over Ukraine will be considered).
  • Salary: $1,500 $3,000 Gross (6% tax on FOP).
