About the job Kinaxis Consultant/Supply Chain Functional Consultant
You will drive the functional and process side of Kinaxis implementations (RapidResponse / Maestro). Your focus is understanding and improving supply-chain planning processes (Demand, Supply, Forecasting, S&OP, Inventory, Replenishment), translating business needs into clear requirements, enabling business readiness, running/assisting testing, and supporting functional configuration.
Youll be the key link between business stakeholders (Planning, Operations, Logistics) and technical/solution teams.
Key responsibilities

-
Facilitate workshops for functional design; gather and document requirements (process flows, fit/gap analysis, user stories, functional specifications).
-
Support functional configuration activities in Kinaxis (e.g., demand forecasting, supply planning modules), including data mapping and master data validation.
-
Collaborate with solution architects, integration, and data teams to ensure interfaces and data flows meet business requirements.
-
Support testing: unit, integration, and UAT—create test scenarios/scripts, validate outputs, document defects, and confirm business logic is correct.
-
Deliver training and documentation; support change management and user adoption for new planning processes.
-
Translate business challenges (e.g., forecast inaccuracy, high variability, slow planning cycles) into process improvements and system requirements, recommending best-practice approaches.
Requirements / skills
-
2–5+ years in supply-chain planning and related areas (Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Planning, S&OP, Inventory/Replenishment, Operations Planning).
-
Strong knowledge of supply-chain planning concepts: demand planning, forecasting, MRP/consumption-based planning, supply & capacity planning, inventory management.
-
Proven experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation (process mapping, functional specs, gap analysis).
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management—able to speak business and translate needs to technical teams.
-
Exposure to enterprise planning systems (Kinaxis preferred; ERP/planning tools also relevant).
-
Hands-on experience supporting UAT, data validation, master data topics, and end-user training/change management.
Why this role matters
